ICON White Spot Treatment in St Albans

ICON uses a low-viscosity resin to infiltrate the porous enamel beneath the surface of the white spot. Because the resin shares the light-refracting properties of healthy enamel, the white spot blends seamlessly back into the tooth.

• The tooth surface is gently cleaned and isolated.
• A mild etching gel opens up the porous enamel.
• The ICON resin is infiltrated into the lesion and light-cured.
• The tooth is polished — no drilling, no injections, no recovery.

The whole treatment usually takes around 45–60 minutes per area.

If your treatment plan also calls for straightening — for example as part of our ABC Smile approach — we use C Thru clear aligners rather than Invisalign. Both are nearly invisible, removable trays that gently move teeth into position, but C Thru offers a few advantages we feel benefit our patients:
