Clear aligners are a series of custom-made, transparent plastic trays that fit snugly over your teeth. Each set is worn for around 1–2 weeks before swapping to the next, and each one moves your teeth slightly closer to their target position. Most patients wear them 20–22 hours a day, only removing them to eat and brush.
